Visit the Memorial Chorten. A visit here is a good introduction to Tantric Buddhism in all its complexities.

Hike to an isolated Gompa (meditation place) and spend a night or two at the Gompa receiving teachings from a Lama and practicing with the monks.

Visit the famous Gangtey Gompa, the oldest and largest Nyingma Buddhist monastery in Bhutan.

Visit a Beyul (Guru Rinpoche's Hidden Paradise) and, a special temple and the meditation center founded by Kyabje Chadral Rinpoche, one of the highest Nyingma Rinpoches. Every year, Chadral Rinpoche visits this meditation center and stays for about a month providing teachings to people undergoing meditation and conducting a Drubchen prayer ceremony
