As such, you will be spending very little extra time and effort in fulfilling the responsibilities of a Pre-Trip Co-ordinator. What we look for in a Pre-Trip Co-ordinator

Knowledge and experience of traveling in Asia (Nepal, Tibet, India, Thailand, etc.)
Good fellowship, ability to relate.
Passion for helping others
Ability to manage group dynamics
A good reader. A desire to learn about our country, culture, religion and all the information that we provide, and to share such knowledge with the other participants


What are the Responsibilities

Introduce yourself to each trip participant via email, phone, or fax. Inform them about your role as our Pre-Trip Co-ordinator.

Helping the participants find the best deal on all the services and products necessary before arrival in Bhutan (example airlines with frequent flyer program or most direct route, conveniently located hotels, and most appropriate travel insurance).

Ensuring that the international flight and hotel reservations, and other such arrangements are made and cofirmed by each pariticipant at least a week before their departure for the trip.

Organizing a pre-departure meeting with the participants. This is optional. It may be arranged only if it is feasible and convenient.

Arrange to meet the group at the airport or the hotel in Bangkok, Delhi or Kathmandu (the enroute stopover place from where you connect to Druk Air, Bhutan's national airline), and assist the group to check-in with the Druk Air.

No Risks
As a Pre-Trip Co-ordinator, you will be responsibile to share information, recommend and help other participants with pre-trip arrangements only if they ask for your assistance with the condition that you will not be held liable for indirect, special or consequential damages arishing in this connection. Together with your letter of introduction, you may enclose a release of liability form and have all the members, who require your assistance with pre-trip arrangements, sign and submit it to you. We will also inform the members about this condition.
